IOP TEACHER TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS CONTINUE IN 2013
added on Friday, September 07 2012We are delighted that the 2012 IOP Teacher Training Scholarships programme has been so successful. The popularity of the programme surpassed our expectations, indicating that more people than ever are choosing to teach physics. This is great news for physics but many more teachers are still needed.
We are very happy to reveal that we will be continuing to award IOP Teacher Training Scholarships in 2013, thanks to further funding from the Department for Education (DfE), and we have another 100 scholarships to award.
If you’ve had thoughts about putting your passion for physics into practice in the classroom, or you know someone who has, a scholarship worth £20,000 (plus a package of benefits including mentoring) could be the incentive to make the move. As you would expect, these scholarships are for outstanding individuals with exceptional physics knowledge, enthusiasm and the skills to excel in the classroom.
