The Innovation Centre is a 56,000 sq. ft. award winning two storey facility opened in 2003 and named at the Irish Property Awards 2004 as ‘Northern Ireland’s Commercial Development of the Year’.
Available in unit multiples of 2,000 sq. ft., The Innovation Centre's occupants avail of all-purpose work-spaces adaptable for everything from wet labs to desk-based work. The facility is already let to a mix of indigenous businesses such as XenoSense (operating in the food diagnostics sector), software firm Meridio and inward investors such as Microsoft, which has based its first Northern Ireland office in The Centre.
The Centre is primarily a 'staging post' for rapidly growing knowledge ventures and a number of occupants who have already outgrown their units are in the process of moving onto larger, purpose fit-out spaces in newer premises within the Science Park .
Tenants can avail of the “in-building” conference/meeting facilities, the shared break-out areas and the in-building café and corporate catering facilities.
Scalable ICT packages are available if required through a HP-Cisco installed and supported VOIP system enabling companies to occupy and commence activity quickly and without capital investment in ICT switches. Low cost internet and telephony services are available with bulk purchasing across the Park yielding benefits for all tenants. The building has total wireless connectivity.
