We offer tours for schools, universities and special interest groups of Titanic's Dock & Pump-House.
Schools
Our visit will include an interactive accompanied tour of the Pump-House & Dry-Dock.
A unique opportunity now exists for your pupils to be among the first pupils to visit this new attraction, see history come to life and enjoy a range of activities including: discovering how ships were built on Queen’s Island, understanding what a dry dock was used for, find out how the pump-house was the “beating heart” of the ship-yard and viewing Titanic’s footprint.
Taking part in a range of interactive fun activities including: -
- race across the Atlantic
- map-quest
- role play/drama
- games promoting teamwork
There are strong links to the Revised Curriculum especially Science & Technology. Our school tour will encourage pupils to develop their thinking skills and personal capabilities as they engage in interconnected learning. Themes includes technology, engineering, energy, maths, history, geography, citizenship, health and safety, etc.

Universities and Special Interest Groups
Tours for smaller special interest groups who may have a specific area of interest can be arranged to meet your specific requirements.
Educational study groups focusing on the following areas can also be arranged: -
- the Titanic
- maritime history
- technology, science and engineering
- conservation and regeneration
